Professional Background: Kena Yoke brings over 40 years of experience in construction management, office administration, and project coordination, paired with a lifelong commitment to networking, mentorship, and community engagement. She currently serves as Vice President of Island Piling, Inc. and Managing Member of Island Piling Manufacturing, LLC, where she provides executive leadership with a focus on operational excellence, innovation, and long-term growth.
Previously, Kena founded Kena Yoke Consulting, Inc. (formerly Kena Yoke Bookkeeping then Dax Enterprises), where she was an early pioneer of virtual office solutions following the 2007–2008 financial crisis. Through her consultancy, she helped businesses streamline operations, enhance professional image, and strengthen community presence.
An entrepreneur and socialpreneur, Kena has held leadership roles with Fusion Pointe, the Entrepreneur Society of Naples (Executive Director), and the Entrepreneur Society of America. She actively supports higher education and entrepreneurial development through her service on the FGCU Daveler & Kauanui School of Entrepreneurship Advisory Council, the FSW Daveler School of Entrepreneurship Advisory Council, and as a mentor with SWFL CEO and the FGCU Veteran Entrepreneur Program. She also serves on the FGCU Military and Veteran Success Advisory Council.
Beyond business, Kena is deeply committed to philanthropy and veteran advocacy. She supports organizations including St. Matthew’s House, Above Board Chamber of Commerce, Collier-Lee Honor Flight, Freedom Waters Foundation, and the Louisville Slugger Warriors. Her dedication to serving veterans is inspired by her father’s World War II U.S. Navy service, a legacy she fully discovered after his passing. Recognizing the importance of connection and purpose, Kena is devoted to building strong support networks that create meaningful opportunities and safe, supportive environments for veterans.
