With a career grounded in finance and entrepreneurship, Mark Bole is an FGCU instructor and Faculty Fellow for the Ain Technology and Design Hub, where he leads student teams in delivering digital marketing solutions to local businesses. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas-Austin and an MBA from the University of Tennessee. His professional journey encompasses roles in financial management within multinational corporations and spearheading entrepreneurial initiatives in Europe and North America. At FGCU’s Institute for Entrepreneurship, his tenure as an educator and former Entrepreneur in Residence is distinguished by his dedication to inspiring and mentoring the next generation of business leaders. Mark’s teaching focuses on demystifying Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its applications in the business world, particularly in courses like Digital Technologies and Entrepreneurial Mindset. His consulting activities primarily involve teaching companies how to initiate their journey with AI, with a particular emphasis on task-level applications. Through these real-life examples and hands-on leadership of the Hub’s digital marketing projects, he underscores the practical benefits of AI in enhancing business efficiency and employee productivity. Mark’s educational philosophy is about making AI understandable and applicable, equipping students and professionals with the knowledge and skills to excel in an increasingly technology-oriented business environment.
